We Must Invest in Public Schools, Not Dismantle Them
Public Education is the greatest equalizer of our time. I am its champion. I believe there are many ways to define success in life, and we should invest in providing every American with the means to pursue their version of the American Dream. This means investing in public schools, trade schools, professional certification programs, and building pathways to success in this country.
We Must Invest in Services that Benefit the Greatest Number of Americans
Last week, we touched on the fact that the consequences of dismantling social services and public safety nets will be felt not for years, but for generations, and that is true on so many levels. This administration is dismantling services and agencies that are vital to 99% of Americans, all to fund tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans, and the 119th Congress is enabling it.
Moral Decay: Trust in the United States is Weakened
According to a Pew Research Center study of global opinion, U.S. favorability ratings among our closest allies declined sharply between 2024 and 2026, reaching historic lows in countries such as Germany, France, South Korea, and Japan. Moral Decay: Is America Rotting To The Core?
Under this administration's leadership, we’ve seen weak attempts to defend and justify actions that outright violate the Constitution and go against everything our nation was built on. Trust.

What I’m Hearing from the District
As we celebrate new beginnings, here’s the reality for this campaign. There are 72 days until the primary on June 16. 72 days until District 4 votes on their candidate for the 2026 Midterm Election. And I am daily reminded that the people are ready for change, but there’s work to do. How much work? Well, there are 14 counties and nearly 800,000 people who live in this District. And here’s what I’m hearing.
Cole Votes Yes
While out on the doors, I’ve noticed the primary election isn't on most people's minds. So, although I am out to remind voters to get out on June 16, the message remains the same. Get out to vote on June 16, then get ready again,
Women in the Workforce & Leadership
Progress that got women closer to equality in the workforce. Yet that progress has not eliminated the gaps in pay, leadership, and representation in the workforce. Ultimately, we must build systems where opportunity is truly equal. This looks like considering improvements to work environments and supporting policies that benefit not only women, but all workers.
